Hypnotic Clock

Clock study local time / animated digits

Static digit plates hold until a value changes, then the animated source takes over for the tick.

Hypnotic clock is inspired as a sort of homage to something I think remember seeing on PrayStation years ago. Of course, the Flash days are over, but it seemed easy enough to recreate using a little javascript. The hardest part of this was setting up my phone to capture the video, trimming clips for each number, and exporting to image files.
